• BE in Civil Engineering (Specialisation in Hydropower), Kathmandu University, Nepal.

Work Experience Mr Mainali is a civil engineer with professional experience in hydropower engineering, geospatial analysis, and civil infrastructure projects. He has gained experience through a Civil Engineering Internship at Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited and a Civil Engineering Trainee position with BGEO, OPEN GIS, and SLU Barcelona, Spain. His work has involved hydropower construction planning, GIS-based infrastructure assessment, hydraulic studies, spatial data analysis, and urban flood resilience assessment.

Mr Mainali possesses knowledge of hydropower planning, hydraulic structures, geospatial analysis, and civil infrastructure. His skills include hydrological analysis, hydraulic design, GIS-based spatial analysis, Python-based data processing, quantity and cost estimation, technical documentation, and engineering report preparation. He is proficient in AutoCAD, QGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, EPANET, Civil 3D, and other engineering software used in civil and infrastructure projects.

EXPERIENCE With over 30 years of experience in drafting, plotting, and contouring, Ms. Shrestha has developed a strong expertise in preparing final drawings from sketches provided by engineers. Her extensive experience spans a wide range of hydropower projects, where she has played a key role in the preparation of construction drawings, including detailed and tender drawings. Ms. Shrestha has worked on significant projects such as the Melamchi Diversion Scheme, Khimti Hydropower Project, Nyadi Hydropower Project, and Budi Gandaki Hydroelectric Project, among others. Her proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCivil has been integral to the success of these projects, ensuring accurate and detailed drawings for feasibility studies, design, and construction phases. Additionally, her work has involved preparing drawings for irrigation projects, road projects, and residential buildings, demonstrating his versatile skill set in various engineering domains.      

Education: Bachelor’s in Social Work(BSW) from Tribhuvan University. Experiences: Mr. Thapa has over 9 years of experience in the Finance and Administration sector, working in organisations based in Nepal. He began his career as a Finance Officer, where he managed accounting operations, prepared financial reports, and oversaw sales management. Since July 2017, he has been an Administrative Assistant at Hydro Tunnelling and Research Private Limited, where he is responsible for managing client communications, maintaining office policies, coordinating meetings, managing accounts, and ensuring efficient office operations.
