Education B.E in Civil Engineering from Kantipur Engineering College (Tribhuvan University) Work Experience Ms. Sharma brings over three years of experience in the design and implementation of hydropower projects. She has played a key role in hydraulic modelling, preparation of construction drawings, designing underground structures, preparing BOQs, and report preparation for projects ranging from 9.3 MW to 325 MW. She is eager to continue her work in the hydropower sector while further enhancing her engineering expertise.

Education BE in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Hydropower), Kathmandu University, Nepal. Work Experience Mr. Shrestha is a Civil Engineer with experience in designing and constructing hydraulic structures mainly for projects like the Middle Mewa Hydropower Project (73.5 MW) and Bhotekoshi-1 Hydropower Project (44 MW). He has contributed to the design and drafting of hydraulic structures along with detailed quantity estimation. Passionate about hydropower engineering, he is focused on delivering precise and efficient designs.

EDUCATION Bachelor’s in civil engineering - Institute of engineering (IoE) RESEARCH AND EXPERIENCE Ms. Rai has conducted research on multi-hazard risk assessment of Waling Municipality, Syangja, Nepal during her bachelor. She is interested in structure design, analysis and conducting research. Skills: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP, ArcGIS, QGIS GeoStudio, HEC-RAS, Flow-R. Ms. Rai is currently working as a junior civil engineer in Hydro Tunnelling and Research Center Pvt. Ltd.    

Kritik Niraula  Education BE in Civil Engineering (Specialization in hydropower engineering), Kathmandu University, Nepal. Work Experience Mr. Niraula is a Civil Engineering graduate specializing in Hydropower Engineering with hands-on exposure gained during his internship at the Bhotekoshi-I Hydropower Project (44 MW). There, he had the opportunity to learn by observing and supporting the supervision of construction activities, reviewing engineering drawings, and performing quality control and material testing under the guidance of senior engineers. This experience allowed him to develop practical insights into hydropower project execution and site operations. Passionate about sustainable infrastructure and hydropower engineering, he is focused on delivering precise and efficient engineering designs while continuously learning and contributing to impactful projects in the field.

Work Experience Prabin Shah is a Civil Engineering graduate from Kathmandu University with a strong passion for hydraulic design, structural analysis, and sustainable hydropower development. He completed his final year project on the Potential Study of Hewa – A Small Hydropower Project, which involved detailed hydrological analysis, hydraulic design, and financial evaluation. His academic foundation was further strengthened by an internship at the Rahughat Hydroelectric Project, where he gained valuable field-level insights into hydropower systems and construction practices. Now starting his professional journey with Hydro Tunnelling and Research Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Shah is eager to further enhance his skills in advanced engineering design and analysis tools, and contribute to impactful infrastructure development in Nepal and beyond.

EDUCATION Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering – Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal Mr. Bajracharya is a civil engineering graduate with skills and interest in hydrological modeling, GIS analysis. His interest in tunnelling and hydropower development grew during his internship at the Nagdhunga Tunnel Project and involvement in real-life hydropower projects, where he was exposed to practical engineering processes and multidisciplinary coordination. He is proficient in Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and ETABS, and is known for his adaptability, analytical thinking, and dedication to delivering effective engineering solutions.

Work Experience Ms. Thapa is a Civil Engineer graduate with a strong interest in hydraulic design and structural analysis. The interest was further solidified during the internship at Bheri Babai Diversion Multipurpose Project. She looks forward to expanding her skills in engineering design and analysis tools as she begins her professional journey with Hydro Tunnelling and Research Pvt. Ltd.

Work Experience Ms. Shrestha is a graduate Civil Engineer, passionate about Sustainable Infrastructure Development and Hydropower Engineering.  Her final year project, Potential Study of Hydropower Project: A Case Study of Nyadi Hydropower Project, involving hydrological analysis, hydraulic design, and techno-economic evaluation, further strengthened her passion for hydropower development.
