Mr. Shrestha holds over 10 years of professional experience, and over 5 years’ experience in Hydropower specializing in feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, and project management as hydropower engineer, design engineer, and civil engineer.
His expertise spans projects ranging from 9.5 MW to 325 MW, including notable contributions to projects such as the Khimti-II Hydroelectric Project (48.8 MW) -Detail Engineering Design, Upper Bheri Hydropower Project (325MW) – Feasibility Study, Tiplyang Kaligandaki Hydroelectric Project (86 MW) -Detail engineering design, Bakan Hydroelectric Project (44 MW) -Detail engineering design, Super Lower Bagmati Hydroelectric Project (42 MW)- Detail engineering design, Middle Trishuli Hydroelectric Project (20 MW) -Detail engineering design, Mai Beni Hydroelectric Project (9.51 MW ) -Project Rehabilitation, Bhirkate Road Tunnel – Review of Feasibility Study and Design, Mauribhir Road Tunnel- Review of Feasibility Study and Design.
Mr. Shrestha possesses adept knowledge in the detailed design of tunnel, waterways and powerhouse complex. His skills include layout planning, civil drawing preparation for hydraulic structures, overall project cost estimation (civil and hydromechanical), and preparation of deliverable documents for hydropower and road projects. He is experienced in design and issuance of construction drawings (IFCs) for waterways, tunnels, penstocks, adits, vertical Shafts, caverns and powerhouse complex with various hydropower related structures.
