His work combined experimental testing with numerical modeling using ABAQUS to understand the impact of curing environments on concrete strength and durability. With a blend of technical research and field experience, he is committed to delivering sustainable and well-engineered solutions. He brings a strong understanding of materials, structural behavior, and construction practices to every project he undertakes.

Education BE in Civil Engineering, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel Experience Mr. Dhakal is a Civil Engineer with over three years of experience in the design and implementation of hydropower projects in Nepal. His work focuses on underground structures, tunnel engineering, rock mechanics, and powerhouse design. He is also experienced in cost estimation, rate analysis, and quantity surveying, contributing to effective project planning and budgeting. He has been involved in several hydropower projects, including Budhi Gandaki HPP (341 MW), Upper Bheri HEP (325 MW), Middle Mewa HPP (73.5 MW), Khimti-II HEP (48.8 MW), Bhotekoshi-1 HPP (44 MW), Super Lower Bagmati HPP (41.86 MW), and Middle Trisuli Ganga (19.41 MW). Additionally, he worked as a Site Engineer during the construction of the underground powerhouse for the Tanahu Hydropower Project (140 MW), where he participated in site supervision and cost evaluations.

He has worked on various projects ranging from 10 MW to 50 MW, including Bhotekoshi-1 (44 MW), United Mewa Khola (50 MW) and Siwa Khola Hydropower Project (10 MW). His strengths are the technical hydraulic design of headworks components, Sediment Hydraulics, Structural analysis (SAP), hydrodynamic modelling (HEC-RAS, FLOW-3D), and layout planning of hydraulic structures. A specialist in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ETABS, and QGIS, he plays a crucial role in the design and execution of hydropower projects.

She has played a key role in hydraulic modelling, preparation of construction drawings, designing underground structures, preparing BOQs, and report preparation for projects ranging from 9.3 MW to 325 MW. She is eager to continue her work in the hydropower sector while further enhancing her engineering expertise.

There, he had the opportunity to learn by observing and supporting the supervision of construction activities, reviewing engineering drawings, and performing quality control and material testing under the guidance of senior engineers. This experience allowed him to develop practical insights into hydropower project execution and site operations. Passionate about sustainable infrastructure and hydropower engineering, he is focused on delivering precise and efficient engineering designs while continuously learning and contributing to impactful projects in the field.
